The KU web servers support scripting using PHP through suexec, as well as both mysql and oracle database backends.

Other open-source applications may work on the KU web servers, but it is up to the developer to find a way to implement them through PHP/suexec. KU Web Services may be available to assist with non-supported application installation, for a nominal cost-recovery fee.
Important Note
All online forum, blog, wiki or other "posting" applications MUST be 100% moderated by an individual in your department unless protected by KU Online ID login via Shibboleth or by the application's built-in account creation system. This moderation is necessary to prevent spam and misuse. Web sites allowing anonymous posting or registrations that are not moderated are subject to immediate removal by KU IT.
